Hi Robert, This patch was obtained from ArchLinux here:
https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/community.git/tree/trunk/openscenegraph-ffmpeg3.patch?h=packages/openscenegraph I have tested that it works on osg 3.4.0, whilst these updated files were made against the latest osg code on GitHub at the time. I have tested it works with FFmpeg 2.8.6, 2.8.7 and 3.0.1.
