Robert, Did a make uninstall, make clean, deleted everything in the build directory, updated from svn and then I closed all Cygwin sessions and actually rebooted my machine. Sounds strange I know but it seems like last time we were researching some of these oddities when I did that it compiled. Once rebooted I did a ccmake and then generated. The last time I forgot the examples and built them in a second build but this time I built all at the same time. Compiled all the way through when I did a make - no isnan error. Too many factors here but now we know we can get a build so I can experiment with various factors like rebooting, fresh Cygwin invocation, with and without examples. Interesting fact here is that Alberto Luaces (another OSG on Cygwin user) reported to me it works for him and had me try a simple test program for compiling with an isnan function and the test failed so there is something else working here. Combine that with the idea that when I rebooted and reentered Cygwin it seems to help the builds there does appear to be something else at work here. It appears as well he does not have the hang on exit in Single Thread mode as I do but he has it in other modes - which is odd as I always have it in some programs. Might be time for a total fresh install of Cygwin but I hate to. bk _______________________________________________ osg-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openscenegraph.org/listinfo.cgi/osg-users-openscenegraph.org
