Hi J-W,

I'm not a windows user, but suspect that it is the window event
behavior of windows that is the problem here, and that the osgViewer's
main loop is being held up by calls to Windows to get events.
Producer and hence osgProducer has a different backend for
implementing events to what osgViewer has (they are two completely
different code base) it could be that way that Producer collects
events isn't hindered by windows event handling oddities.

I can't suggest a solution, as I'm no windows developer so will have
to differ to windows guru's to suggestions on how what the problem
might be and suggestions for a general purpose solution.

Robert.
