This time last year it was lack of CMake frameworks support that held use back from dropping hand maintained XCode projects. I believe frameworks support exists, but I'm not sure if its made it into a CMake stable release. Eric Wing provided some details on this a couple of weeks back. Eric mentioned that we'd need to tweak the OSG's CMake scripts to get things working too. This is work that will have to be tackled once OSG-2.4 is out.
