In VPB there isn't any support for substituting a custom value for NoDataValue elements, this could be added though. FYI, I'm now back working on VPB for the majority of this month so it's a good time to throw questions in my direction. Its also a very good time to test VPB as this month I will go for making the 1.0 stable release.
