Hi Robert, I get a crash in osg::getGLVersionNumber()... glGetString() returns a NULL pointer. Something you already encountered ( http://lists.openscenegraph.org/pipermail/osg-users-openscenegraph.org/2008-July/014034.html ). I can't answer your question then, sorry. (Or maybe you know how to avoid this NULL pointer?)
