Just to be clear or confuse you more... Collada DOM 2.1 creates a library with support for Collada version 1.4.
Collada DOM 2.2 creates libraries for both Collada version 1.4 and version 1.5. These are different libraries! We have only been using the dae plugin with a library for version 1.4.
