Hi All, Due to problems with trying to check changes into the OSG-2.8 branch I'm unable to finish up the OSG-2.8.0 release right now, I'm stalled till we can sort out the svn branch. I don't know how long this will take to resolve as the cause of the problem is still unknown.
Rather just stall completely we can fall back to a plan B, and that is to use svn/trunk as the base for the OSG-2.8.0 release. Since the branch I've been keeping svn/trunk and the 2.8 branch roughly in sync, the only exception has been the addition of VS library versioning information that has made it into the svn/trunk which I deemed it too experimental to make it into the OSG-2.8 branch. if we can confirm that the svn/trunk are good and don't introduce any problems then potentially we could start again and source 2.8.0 from a new branch of svn/trunk. But before I even entertain such a change I need feedback on just how svn/trunk is looking. Does it compile just fine?
