I think this is a bug:
osgText/Font.cpp and Font3D.cpp hard code the search path for font files to:
"/usr/share/fonts/ttf:/usr/share/fonts/ttf/western:/usr/share/fonts/ttf/decoratives"
But on Mac OS X Leopard, the path is actually
"/Library/Fonts"
