Hey, thanks for the answers so far, sry it took me a while to answer:
> > Firstly, I just want to be clear that I didn't mean to be condescending I didnt take it in that way at all, and am thankful for any help. > do you mean it didn't fix the error with Config or the C4541: 'dynamic_cast' > error? Yes thats what I meant, and you are right I dont get that far because of the first error. > I think my next experiment would be to create a header file of my own in that > OpenThreads directory and try to include it in my project That is a good idea, I will try that > try using osgviewer with any 3d model, like osgviewer cow.osg The demo applications all work, so when I write osgviewer cow.osg the viewer opens with the cow model. > It looks like you did an out of source build Yes I did, the tutorial I followed said it was cleaner, so I added a folder called "build" > -I$OSG/build_release/include -I$OSG/build_debug/include -I$OSG/include Where would that line go exactly? I am confused :-* Do you think it would be easier to delete everything and try from scratch? I mean it is such a waste of time, as building OSG always takes an hour (and I have already done it a few times) but I really need to get this working soon. :? Any other ideas?
