Paul,

Fair enough. When browsing through many of the tutorials, documentation, forum
posts, etc. I thought I seen a mention of a major overhaul to the core OSG. I
simply took that and went with it. I'll try to be more accurate and precise
with my terminology - my apologies for the confusion.

I'm glad to hear there are not any major changes that would permit us from
upgrading to newer OSG stable version. This of course will allow for a more
seamless upgrade.

I did notice osgProducer as a deprecated app and was at the beginning of
compiling it to get it and the latest OSG stable version working with one of
our applications (as a method you proposed as well), but wasn't sure if I was
going about everything the correct way.

I don't necessarily need to port away from it at this moment. Thus, it may be
easier to stick with producer. However, from what Robert mentioned it doesn't
sound like too big of a task to switch over to osgViewer.

I'm not too familiar with OSG. Actually, I really just started using it about a
week ago. Regardless, unless someone can attest for having numerous aches and
pains that lasted more than a week from upgrading to OSGProducer I think I'll
stick with a full upgrade.

Thanks.
