Thanks, Kim. That's pretty much the direction I had decided to take. So far I haven't gotten anything "wet" to show up at all, but I'll keep fiddling with it. It's probably scale related because I'm using the same code to position the osgOcean surface that I used to place my ocean stand-in blue quad.
