For our app, we want our file icons to show a thumbnail image of the contents. In Windows you accomplish this with an icon handler which is just a shell extension handler (see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb776857(VS.85).aspx <http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb776857%28VS.85%29.aspx>).
Has this already been written? I don't want to spend my time writing something that already exists elsewhere and this is such a common thing I figured somebody has probably already written an osg icon handler.
