Hi Lucie, maybe you could try to use the "OSG_NOTIFY_LEVEL=INFO" flag to know a little bit more about your problem...
What are the version of osg, vpb and gdal you are using ? Also you could maybe try to use some known to work data like the Boston sample of the OsgGis project ? http://osggis.org/downloads/boston-sample.zip Cheers, Pierre.
