I used camera->setImplicitBufferAttachmentMask( osg::Camera::IMPLICIT_COLOR_BUFFER_ATTACHMENT, osg::Camera::IMPLICIT_COLOR_BUFFER_ATTACHMENT );
to avoid having a depth buffer attached.
