You were very helpful with your advice Jean and I just acquired 2 books on Windows programming which I will study thoroughly as I delve deeper into osg graphics programming. As you said, doing something just because it seems to work without critically understanding why you're doing it is just like shooting in the dark, hoping to hit something. And I am actually very impressed with the speed with which the community responds to such queries. :). So thanks once again!
