Insyen AG are looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a Senior
Software Developer.
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong 3D Graphics,
scripting and GUI development experience
for an open ended contract. This person will be responsible for providing
support in the development of advanced features
for our NG3DV software. These features include developing software for the
procedural addition of realistic looking objects
(trees, buildings, complete towns, vehicles, atmospheric effects) and the
implementation of the corresponding realistic/physical
behaviours. This person will also participate in the development of a "scenario
editor" using those objects to create
complete scenarios for training purposes. We are looking for a self-motivated
and creative individual with a
minimum of four years' experience developing C++ code.
Required Experience
Strong C++ Development Experience
Strong OpenSceneGraph Experience
Strong experience with the Lua scripting language.
GUI design with wxWidgets/wxLua
Shader (GLSL) development experience
Fluent English
Desired Experience
osgEarth experience
Advanced GLSL skills
3DSMax or blender modeling skills
Experience with the Bullet Physic Engine
C++ reflection with osgIntrospection experience
Experience with numerical computation methods
Experience in basic signal processing algorithms
Bonus Experience
Linux gcc toolchains and cross compilation experience
Cmake/dashboards experience
Map layer building with GDAL tools
German and/or French
The position will be based in Munich, Germany or possibly in Toulouse, France.
The candidate will need to initially spend time in Toulouse
for familiarisation/training and a certain amount of travel between the two
will be required.
