Hi Antonio, osgVolume doesn't handle Geode's, it just handles 3D imagery packed into osg::Image. See the osgvolume example or the dicom plugin so see how the imagery is setup.
As I don't know what form the data you have in your Geode takes I can provide absolutely no guidance on this except that osgVolume just take osg::Image so you'll need to extract these if you have them.
