can you also tell me which compiler you used? I have tried building VPB (v0.9.12) using OSG (v3.0.1 32-bit built myself using MSVC 2010 on win64) and pre-build GDAL(v1.6) from http://www.gisinternals.com/sdk/. I ended up with the same error discussed in this thread (http://lists.openscenegraph.org/pipermail/osg-users-openscenegraph.org/2010-August/044528.html).
