IMO software should just use what it needs instead of what is cool to use. And even if you think you need that nifty c++11 feature, more often than not it's so easily possible to realize the same functionality with older standards tools even without more effort or with that minimal effort that this does in no way rectify enforcing c++11 and ruling out other users because of that.
