The purpose of providing support on the public osg-users mailing list/forum is to help all users. It provides a public record of discussions so that others can learn or contribute to discussions. Doing this public support costs us time and pulls us away from other tasks, such as earning a wage so I for one want to make sure the community get the widest benefit from it. If users/companies want confidential/one or one support then the route is consulting, training or via an annual support contract that provides a confidential mailing list for your team.
