The problem is you haven't yet learned how to convey problems in a way that allows others to understand the issues that you have, so how can we answer what the problems is when we don't even know what it specifically is? Is lack of knowledge/skills in C++ the main problem? Lack of understanding of scene graphs in general or OSG in particular? Struggles with language barrier? Or just too plain lazy to put in the work required to explore and learn about how software works even when you have all the source code in front of you? I'm find it hard to comprehend what you are struggling with, it's such a simple task, you have been given example code that isn't complicated, the classes interfaces you need to use are all pretty straight forward. If you are struggling with this stuff perhaps real-time computer graphics isn't for you.
