Hi Nick, I don't really know what bit you are confused by. It's really just a straight quad tree with PagedLOD inserted to enable the paging. The TerrainTile nodes represent a single tile to be rendered for a particular LOD level and holds the data that describes the imagery and DEMS and position in space. The TerrainTechnique is responsible for creating the subgraphs that does the actual rendering of that data, typically contains the transform from local to ECEF.
