I don't recall this, but I don't always spot everything that rushes by :)

Check the archives, this isn't really apporpriate for thread on the 1.1 release.

Somebody could take a look at "niftools.sourceforge.net".
I can provide Morrowind NIF files if that somebody needs them.
I have Oblivion but I don't know when I'm able to install it.

This is second time I suggest the project. I digged more
and found that the following paper "Designing a PC game engine"
explains briefly the Netimmerse engine:
  http://www.funet.fi/~kouhia/00637270.pdf
The main point seems to be the use of a scenegraph.
The NIF format contains parts of the scenegraph and thus should
be more or less easy to convert to OSG.

David Eberly has also published the book "3D Game Engine Design"
which described the Netimmerse engine. Greatly expanded second
edition is coming out soon.

In an open source world its generally the first one with the itch that
scratches it... so if you think its a good ideal, but nobody has
curently got the itch, then pick up the editor and start coding, you
never know others might join in once you've got going.

Robert.
