Marcus,

Thanks for the note, but that problem (that Greg Corson found and logged) is
now well known, and that's not the trouble i'm experiencing. I can create
an object, texture-map it, and the DAE export file contains _no texture_ at
all. It fails whether i map the material to the Object or the Mesh, whether
i use Orco or UV maps, really no matter what i try in Blender.

However, if i import a textured 3DS object, then export it to DAE, then the
output file does contain the texture reference, with only the known
<color>+<texture> problem.

Sigh. It seems that i'll have to end up sinking many development days or
weeks into fixing osgexport, Blender's Collada exporter, and/or OSG's
Collada importer, before i see my first successful Blender->OSG transfer.

At least this stuff is all open source, so the wonderful opportunity of
painfully fixing it myself is available :-)
