Hi,
I have written short tutorial of how we use Blender with OSG in our
project. I added a short tutorial of separating meshes for multimaterial

I hope it helps. Of course, when you model for OSG, you know that
limitation and you separate things while you are modelling.

This thread is indeed interesting. It is nice to know there are other
Blender users here. Maybe we should open thread, for example in
blenderartists? (http://blenderartists.org/forum/). There we could share
experiences without making traffic to this list.
