Well, ok. I believe that we need to improove out local communications here.
Daniel came in and told me that he also had asked that some time ago ...

Seems my memory is failing me, no doubt the archives won't forget,
it'd amusing to see the original discussion. It'll probably be in
there somewhere amoungst the 50,000 other messages...

To be clear, I work on FlightGear in my spare time. But Daniel 4 other
guys and I work with osg in our day job too.

Now the question is... is this is a good thing or a bad thing :-)

Thanks.
May be we need to change that consistently in the plugins?
... just because I have the impression that I have problems with that ...
... not sure ...

If there are problems then just point them out/suggest fixes. The OSG
isn't this complete static entity, if there are problems we just get
out the tools and fix them.

... we also have plain opengl code that might disturb the state too ...
:-/

One problem at a time please :-)

Intergrating OpenGL with the OSG isn't difficult, but the state does
require a little of handling to make sure that it doesn't bleed into
adjacent OpenGL or OSG drawing code. When you are ready to do this
just ping the list on this topic.

Robert.
