Do you generate dsw and dsp files from the Makefile? Or do you touch them manually?
Its all done mannually, mostly by my me tweaking under Linux and hoping that I don't break the VS build. I very much wish that they could be built from Makefiles though, it'd certainly make my life alot easier.
I am asking because a found a sln/vcproj -> dsw/dsp converter. It could be an idea to migrate to sln/vcproj, as most windows users use this format. Support for vs6 could then be achieved by using the vs7 -> vs6 converter. Either by providing the converted dsw/dsp files with osg, or to let each vs6 user convert from sln/vcproj themselves.
For end users sln/vcproj would be better, but more maintaince .dsp are actually not too bad - they are at least human readable and understandable. I'm not familiar with sln/vcproj, if these are easier to edit by hand that .dsp's then I'd ceratinly be open to moving to jst VS7 project files. I do have to be able to tweak the project file myself, to try and track what changes I make to the core.
