Hi Joakim, W.r.t cmake, yes is possibility that has/is being looked into by others in the community. Have a search on the wiki for cmake and you'll find the page on it. There is also the osg-build mailing list dedicated to build work such as cmake, but alas the list has been pretty quiet since its inception so I guess progress is stalled due Christmas etc.

Just looked through the vcproj with nedit and its certainly not something that I'd ever want to maintain without a xml editor, I don't have kxmleditor on my machine so I'll need to hunt it down.
