I do believe this has to be handled from the higher-level interface in order to allow the app code to remain cross-platform. Perhaps we should compile a list of all requested features and propositions and all agree on a common base. These features definitely have to be factored in the next development phases, so the sooner we know what we want, the better. André PIXDEV inc. This allows you to embed the OSG rendering surface into a Windows UI by providing a pre-existing HWND prior to realization. In fact, I have found Producer::RenderSurface's getWindow() and getDisplay() very handy. It would be nice to still have low-level access to these handles. If this capability is desirable across multiple implementations, perhaps it is a candidate for addition to osgViewer at a higher level. -gw ...
