I do not recall that, but I certainly agree - if for nothing else, it
would be good to not duplicate work for once.

I will see what I can do, probably during the summer. We are trying to
use rbody for some PTSD simulations (military and such) where we need a
bit higher-level interface than raw Cal3D but it really could use some
love - both on the performance front and elsewhere. The way it is
configured needs to be cleaned up, there is quite a bit of
unfinished/non-working functionality etc.
