Hi Robert,

W.r.t the community involvement, I feel that regular testing of the
SVN version across platforms would suffice, we needn't go through a
heavy round of calls for testing.  This does mean developer releases
might break, but then another one will be along shortly so this
needn't concern us too much.  I think we need view developers releases
as pretty cheap items, not quite as lightweight as the nightly
tarball, but something that we needn't sweat over getting perfect,
otherwise we'll all get bogged down with constant build testing.

Great, we'll start testing as soon as work lets up a bit.
