Hi, thanks for the release - I've been looking forward
to playing with this.
I'm having trouble compiling osgCal on windows, I'm
new to mingw/msys and couldn't get it to find the osg
headers or anything, can you possibly post steps on
how you set it up to compile? Sorry to bother you
about this, I've just been trying to get it to compile
for hours and I'm about ready to pull my hair out.
General steps:
1. Install mingw (including gcc) and msys
2. Install cmake. Maybe simple windows installation would work. (I've
compiled and installed cmake as if it was building on unix
(./configure & make & make instal)).
3. Compile OSG (1.9.x) using cmake (you need to specify msys generator
`cmake -G "MSYS Makefiles"') and then make & make install.
4. For OSG include files -- I've personally simply copied OSG's
include & lib files to mingw. But I've just modified osgCal's
makefiles for default OSG installation dirs to work. Try `svn up' and
compile osgCal.
