Hi Eric,

As for the 2.0 release schedule, Apple's WWDC (developer conference)
starts June 11th. This is going to put enormous strain on me and
probably other Mac developers that are attending as we need to prepare
for it. Personally, targeting the end of June would be much nicer on
my schedule. But if that can't be done, I would say the deadline
cannot be allowed to slip past June 8th because we won't be able to
work on an OSG release on the road and at the conference.

Tieing up a time which is suitable for everyone is next to impossible.
If we can't get the OSX side working as sweetly as we'd like we can
also go for a 2.0.1 for the beginning of July.

Would it be possible to get the XCode projects in shape for under of
May? I can introduce others to having write access if this would
help.

If you look at our CMake wiki, there's still a lot of items on the
TODO list so with the early deadline, I think a lot of those things
are not going to make 2.0. One item in particular is static library
building. I'm not convinced it works right because I think the library
link order is wrong. (Jacob and I originally were fairly careful, but
all that code has since been rewritten and put into macros so I'm not
sure if it's going to work right.) But we need testers to actually
find out.

Emmanuel Roche has been doing static build under Windows this week and
was successful, although I'm not sure how many adjustments he made the
the CMake scripts to get things working.

Robert.
