Hello Roger,
The reason I have moved over to the latest source is that I have some
updates to the AC3d and Collada plugins to integrate. I already have a
working build system based around the CVS sources, and have all the
dependant libraries already installed (mostly source builds for debugging
purposes). I need to find out how to get CMake to build the necessary
projects so I can run some test cases and debug them.
I think you misunderstood Luigi. On Windows, you need a 3rdParty
directory parallel to your OpenSceneGraph sources from SVN, in which
the JPEG and PNG libs (among others) are, in order for these plugins
to be built. They can't be anywhere else on your system, because on
Windows there is no standard location for headers, libs and so on
(/usr/include and /usr/lib on Unix).
So you really need to download
http://openscenegraph.org/downloads/dependencies/3rdParty_Win32binaries_2005_05_10.zip
and put it alongside your OpenSceneGraph sources. The tinkering with
the advanced configuration really shouldn't be necessary in most cases.
Good luck,
J-S
