I agree with BJ and Richard about having one public osgi list (i.e. osgi-dev). Describing what is appropriate for advanced vs. newbie lists will be hard to explain. Also, I think many of the same responders will have to subscribe to both lists anyway. Maybe I'm selfish, but I do not look forward to joining yet another mailing list :)

I sort of agree with BJ on this. We are better off having one list that
welcomes newbie questions and/or advanced questions about OSGi
technology (i.e., osgi-dev)...if the question needs to be directed to a
specific OSGi implementations, then we have sufficient knowledge here to
direct the poster to that community.
