We need some help. We are getting ready to do a health care Open Space in Peoria, Illinois and had an idea for recording the discussions. We are thinking about having a computer located at each discussion group so that the typing could be done in real time as the discussion happens. Has anyone done this? If so, how did it work? What are the benefits or drawbacks? I would appreciate any feedback, and quickly if possible, since our event is on April 10th and 11th.
I have, and it doesn't very well. Problem is you just get a "data-dump" with no thought for editing. It does save some time, and given your other constraints I guess I would go with it -- but given any other alternatives, I would seriously consider them. ho
