Dave-- If people will be transcribing in the group, you might want them to have a printed template like the one which comes up in the computer, and suggest that instead of just entering a transcript, they make a shorter report following the form. Personally I like the idea of closing the discussion with a few minutes for the group to decide what should be included in the report--it gives everybody a chance to summarize and anchor important points, and then it is a group report instead of one person's view.
