Hi Alan,
well, one of the OR reasons that would make me go to a 2hr os event (or shorter) is to meet you or any of the many folks on this list I never met, regardless of the Theme!
Also, it is silly of me to label myself "experienced os-worker".

Have a great day in Australia
Greetings from a lovely spring day in my Berlin neighborhood

There you go Michael,
That's the beauty of this family of facilitators, we all think different
things at different times, for example I too would consider myself 'an
experienced OS-worker' but I relish the juicy challenge of holding the
space for two hours, because really it's simple -
"Form a circle, create the agenda! Go to work"

Dear Doug,
thanks for the data.
Were any of your assumptions on why no sessions were planned beyond
the 2hr event spoken to in the "standard closing"?
And, what characterizes a "standard closing" in your practice?

Here are some of the thoughts while reading your notes:
---As an experienced os-worker I wouldn not go to a 2hr os-event
unless my life depended on it OR for reasons that had nothing to do
with the Theme
---At the end of a 3 day "regular" event I would feel especially
stressed to get up early enough to be at any kind of event at 8:30
(assuming there was a party the night before)
---It surprised me that anyone showed up at a "last session" at the
end of such an event... I would have my head into last minute informal
meetings, getting my luggage in order, etc.

Have a great day,
mmp
