I've only just spotted your post, so I hope I'm not too late to contribute. Your problem strikes a chord with me. I've used Osmand for over a year, with no problems. Then, after the release of v2.7 in July, I've been unable to record any of my tracks. There appears to be a recording logged, but every time it's only 331kbs in size; clearly too small to contain any information. I've not changed my phone (Samsung Galaxy S4), I'm pretty familiar with all the various settings in Osmand, nor have I changed anything else that I think is relevant. I've resorted to using Osmand to display the map of the route I'm following, and running GeoTracker in the background to make a recording of my route for later analysis. I'm hoping that the next release might solve the problem as I've run out of ideas.
