Hi Ralph Think of it as - "Auto On (when off)". (Maybe that is why the developers called it "Turn screen on (if off) when approaching a turn".) So; Set it up. Get it going. Turn screen off (manually). Wait for the next turn insruction. Be delighted. :) Paul W
