Thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't tried hiding groups of favorites in a while, because it took for ever when I had only about 10,800 favs ( about one minute per group. I use a Huawei Mediapad M3 that should have enough power).
I just tried again and with even more favorites now, the app becomes unresponsive until killed by Android every time I try. Most of the time the group will be hidden after restarting, but that is really inconvenient.
