I find it unworkable to split up into so many parts. I'm not a topography major. When I go from my home to, lets say, Les Arcs France for skiing, I don't know which departments of France I'm going to traverse? I don't know which maps to download. Do I first need to check my route on my computer, then search wikipedia where the villages along that route lie and then download the maps? This would be absolute madness! I already had it happen that I forgot to download a part and OSMAND calculated a supid long route across the maps that did exist.
