Ah, for missing roads, yeah, there's not much you can go there (other than the obvious of "fix OSM so the road appears").

With no road, there is nothing for OsmAnd to 'route' across (other than using airplane mode).

Thanks for your quick response.
Your suggestion doesn't work. The problem is that the map OsmAnd is using
is not correct. A small stretch of road is missing so now the 2 roads are
not connected. So only if I use airplane mode (which allow me to draw a
straight line) I can move from one road to the other.

Rob

This is *always* a good idea. If the underlying OSM map data is
incorrect, then it is best to correct that data, as bad base data input
to OsmAnd will always end up requiring poor workarounds.

You'll have to try this for one of the roads that is incorrect. It
may, or may not, work.

Setup a route normally, i.e., enter a start and final destination, and
let OsmAnd do it's initial route calculation.

When it is done, if you are still at the screen with the "Start" button
to begin navigation, you'll notice a circle with a plus (+) icon to the
right of the destination field (you also get the same icon if you
reopen the route screen while navigating an active route).

That icon, if you touch it, will allow you to add intermediate
destinations to your route. One of the options is "Select on Map". If
you add an intermediate destination or two to the road OsmAnd wants to
initially ignore, what results? Note that adding intermediate
destionations via select on map is most easily done by zooming on the
road to add. Finger touch positioning is a bit inaccurate, and the
more zoom, the easier it will be to place the intermediate destination
on the desired road itself instead of accidentally next to the road.
