Hi, I just checked the same in my smartphone: in effect, disablig the "More 
details" option does remove the orange overlay from the map.

However, this is not "the" solution: as said by @pebogufi, it might be a 
map issue.
The best action would be to investigate the area with a map editor and/or 
ask a member of the local (French) OSM Community to check and fix it, if 
possible.
