Hi, We are currently investigating how the jackd(mp) server (http://www.grame.fr/~letz/jackdmp.html ) can be ported on Solaris. We read that OSS seems to be the future of sound on Solaris. We will need to use professional multi-channels audio cards, in particular the RME ones (http://www.rme-audio.de/en_index.php ). What is current the status of OSS on Solaris? Can we reasonably expect that RME cards will work even the latest ones (like the MADI http://www.rme-audio.de/en_products_hdsp_madi.php) ? In what time frame?
