It seems that some RME cards, even MADI ones, are supported by ALSA: http://lists.linuxaudio.org/pipermail/linux-audio-dev/2008-July/021327.html http://www.alsa-project.org/main/index.php/Matrix:Vendor-RME How complex would it be to start from the ALSA code to develop an OSS driver?
