For some reason (your) recent messages have been strangely formatted so 
I didn't catch the idea.

I added MEMLIMIT_ISA to oss_audigyls.

oss_sblive sets MEMLIMIT_31BITS for Live! and MEMLIMIT_32BITS for 
Audigy. The original Live! is limited to 31 bit addresses. Audigy/2/4 
can do 32 bits if the chip is switched to some special mode that has 
some side effects (I recall it was 8k page size).  X-Fi seems to have 
similar behaviour but the driver doesn't support it.

Btw, Creative has released a better X-Fi driver. I will take a look at 
them and try to include it to OSS. However this is not to happen before 
v4.1-final which should get released pretty soon (Dec 1 or something 
like that).
