My sincere apologies, I know this topic is elementary but I have been
unable to fix this.
I have the latest Ossec 2.3 and WUI on a Gentoo box running on top of
lighttpd.
I have followed the instructions on the WIKI:

And I am still getting an error as reported here:

Also added lighttpd to the ossec group.
Anybody on the list running ossec-wui on top of lighttpd with the
search function running properly?
