I setup a few nodes a few months ago, then had to abandon it for something else. Yesterday I was going to restart my testing. I setup two nodes, agent / server basic setup. During the agent install however I kept running into the same error. However I setup a few hosts, 10.04, 11.04, 12.04, and all the agents got the same error. I guess I'll start going through the shell install script myself, but that is immensely tedious. Any assistance or help would be greatly appreciated. I can provide more information as well. Or if the above method suggested before needs to be tweaked. > >
Did you try running install.sh using a real shell lile bash? Dash is horrible. Also, including the ossec.conf might help. > Kody Abney > > > Streaming Media Hosting > > -- > > --- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ossec-list" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to [email protected]. > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/groups/opt_out. > > -- --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ossec-list" group.
